So in the last few days we have had a couple of big news stories about moms losing it at Disney.
The first story is a mom who punched a cast member on the Tower of Terror because her fast pass wasn’t valid. (Read more here)
The second story is about a mom who went on an epic Twitter rant, because her son cried when a millennial @#%$! (Her words not mine) caused the pretzel line to be too long.
Let me start by saying, I do not condone the actions of either of these moms. Inappropriate rants are not a proper way of dealing with frustration and physical violence is always a bad choice of coping method.
The lesson here is that Disney World can be stressful. You pay a lot of money to go to Disney, and the pressure to make it worth it can be overwhelming.
In order to not be a Disney cautionary tale, you need proper planning. Have an agenda, take advantage of fast passes, plan your meals and take strategic breaks.
